Day 132 - Squid Dissection

Today we came in at 9:00 and unpacked. At 9:04 we lined up to go to the computer lab. There we worked on writing a business letter. At 9:45 we came back and we did word of the day and calendar math day 132. Then we did math. We got in our groups of choice and we worked on 3.2 in our math books. At 10:30 we went out to recess. After recess at 10:45 we came back in and we kept on working on math. After math we did mystery class. We got in our groups and we graphed data for 2 days. After mystery class we had 10 minutes to finish working on our Houghton Mifflin packets from yesterday. At 12:10 we went to lunch and recess. After lunch at 12:35 we went to the gym to play elimination with the new gatorskin balls. After lunch recess at 1:05 we came back in and we did science. First we observed our bacteria. Then we did the squid dissection. We talked about how to do it and the safety rules. Then we finally got to do it. After the squid dissection we had Ninja Time to get caught up on our work and finish our Houghton Mifflin literacy packets. At 3:25 we packed up and went home at 3:30.
