Today we came in at 9:00 and unpacked. At 9:04 we went to music. In music we read about Beethoven and started watching the movie. After music at 9:45 we came back and we shared what we did over winter break. Then we started setting up the calendar math for January. At 10:30 we went out to recess. After recess at 10:45 we came back in and we finished setting up calendar math. Then we did math. First we wrote down the objectives for the day. We worked on problems 3.1 in our math spirals from our Bits and Pieces 3 books. Then we started a little bit of science. We started working on step 5 part 3 of the scientific method. At 12:10 we went to lunch and recess. After lunch recess at 1:05 we came back in and we finished up science. After science we did DIG. We got in our teams and we drew our pictures of the cultural universal to put on the teams’ mural. After DIG we did literacy. We started reading chapter 4 of our “A Wrinkle In Time” books. Then we went into Ninja Time. We worked on math, science, and the questions for chapter 3 in “A Wrinkle in Time”. At 3:25 we packed up and went home at 3:30.
