Day 7 – Music

Today in Mr. Steele’s class we unpacked our backpacks at 9:00 then we went to music at 9:04. In music we are starting to play the drums. We practiced copy the beat to the music teacher. Then we got back to class at 9:30 and finished up on calendar math. In calendar math we are getting it by ourselves now. When everyone was done with calendar math we corrected our math homework. 10:30 comes and everyone leaves for recess except for Mr. Steele. The boys and 3 girls play football and some people play somewhere else. 10:45 comes and we all come back in from recess. When we come in we eat the snack that we had to bring from our house. Then we get out our math spirals and do math. Then we switch subjects to science! In science we are studying the Grand Canyon! We asked questions about rocks like the different colors and the different shapes. when science was over we went to lunch/recess. That is where we eat lunch then the recess teachers call us out for recess. We come back in at 1:05. We come back to the class. We have to do literacy on the story The Mummy Mystery. Next we have to do social studies on the future and objects. Last thing before we leave is NINJA TIME! It’s when we get everything done that’s not finished. Then we leave hope you enjoyed Mr. Steele’s class!!
