Day 9- science

Today we came in at 9:00 and unpacked. Then at 9:04 we went to P.E, in P.E we went outside and there was a choice of different games. The first game was a race. Second game was hurdles. Were we had to run then jump over the hurdles. 3rd game was a game were there are 3 by 3 mats on the ground and the kids in line have to go and pick up the toys and run them back to the line. 4th game is a throwing game. Its when you throw the rocket farther than your opponent. When P.E was over we came back to our class and did calendar math. Then we got are active vote out (a voting egg) and we voted on the hardest thing about calendar math. Then we went out to recess. When we came back from recess we ate our snack. Then while we were eating we did math. We took a formative assessment and then went over it. In science we did an experiment where we put acid on rocks to see what happens. Some of the rocks fizzed and bubbled. In social studies we read about archeologists and social scientists. We read another chapter in bridge to Terabithia and wrapped up the day with an art lesson on line and texture.
