Today we came in at 9:00 and unpacked. At 9:04 we lined up to go to PE. In PE we played doctors in the battlefield again. Then after PE we came back to the classroom and did calendar math and word of the day. When we finished working on our November calendar, we tore it out to get ready to do the December calendar. When we all turned in our November calendar, we corrected our math homework from last night. Then when we finished correcting them, we passed them forward. At 10:30 we went out to recess. After recess at 10:45 we came back in and we did math. First in math we wrote down our objectives for today. Then we got ready to do problem 1.2 from our Bits and Pieces 3 book. After we discussed the answers we got, we worked on problem 1.2 in our math spirals. When we finished, we transitioned to science. In science we got sheets for step 2 of the scientific method and worked on it. It was about the different variables in a science experiment. At 12:10 we went to lunch and recess. After lunch recess we came back in to finish our science worksheets. After science we did literacy. First in literacy we shared our favorite places. Then we described Mr. Steele’s desktop picture. After everyone finished writing, some of shared. After literacy we transitioned to social studies. First in social studies we finished reading chapter 5 in our books. Then we got to choose our groups to look through magazines and find artifacts that show that we are a civilization. After social studies we went into Ninja Time to project and our “Climb or Die “questions. At 3:25 we packed up and went home at 3:30.
