Today we came in at 9:00 and we unpacked. Then at 9:04 we went to the computer lab. First in the computer lab we got pictures from the internet and learned how to use Microsoft Publisher. Then we added the pictures and text to our publisher document. After restarting the computer, we came back to the classroom and we did calendar math and word of the day. Then we looked over calendar math. We put our calendar math away and then we corrected our math homework from last night. At 10:30 we went out to recess. After recess we came back in and we finished correcting our math homework. When we finished, we passed them forward and we started math. Firs in math we wrote down the objectives for today. Then we did problems 1.4 in our math spirals. After math we did science. In science we compared our guesses and predictions. Then we predicted how many drops of water will fit on a head of a dime and actually did the experiment. At 12:10 we went to lunch and recess. After lunch recess at 1:05 we came back in and we wrote about a light bulb. When we finished writing, we worked on our questions for chapter 1 of “A Wrinkle in Time”. After literacy we did DIG. First we looked at an “artifact” in our student guide. Then we got our homework assignment over the weekend. After DIG we did Ninja Time to get caught up on our work. At 3:25 we packed up and went home at 3:30
