Day 157 - Book Clubs

Today we came in at 9:00 and unpacked. At 9:04 we lined up to go to PE. In PE we played a volleyball game close to a regulation game. After PE at 9:45 we came back in and we did word of the day and calendar math day 157. Then we went over calendar math. After calendar math we corrected our math homework from last Thursday. At 10:32 we went out to first recess. After first recess at 10:45 we came back in and we took a test using our ActiVotes. After math we did writing. First we discussed how to write our second paragraph of our essay, then thought of an example using people’s topics. At 12:10 we went to lunch and recess. After recess at 1:05 we came back in and we wrote our second paragraphs. Then we traded with a peer and read the paragraphs. After writing we did social studies. First we read from our books and answered questions. After social studies we did book clubs. We got in our groups and read, did the jobs. At 3:25 we packed up and went home at 3:30.
